Gareth Dunlop, Matt McGinn and Kim Richey - Let the long way slow us down

I had to post another title from the superb concert featuring Gareth Dunlop, Matt McGinn and the delightful Kim Richey from Nashville, that I was priviledged to mix at the Guitar Rooms, Holywood, Northern Ireland, 17.12.2014. Together they were pure class!

Fortunately the cartoon doesn't show the technicians in bath chairs and with ear-trumpets at the back of the room

Na Leanai - Fly & Dodger, recorded at the Bronte Music Club, Rathriland, 27.012.2014

Another video from the same Na Leanai concert, who are the next generation (daughters and nephew) of The Sands Family from Northern Ireland. It admirably shows that the talent has been passed on to this generation, with good looks now being added as well.

I mixed the concert using the house PA at the Bronte Music Club, the recording being taken from the stereo output of the house mixer, recorded on a Roland R-26 digital recorder. The microphones were Beyerdynamic TG-V70d for vocals, Audio Technica ATM 350 on fiddles, Radial J48 DI's on guitars

Na Leanai - Winter Trees, recorded at the Bronte Music Club, Rathfriland, 27,12.2014

This is a video of the delightful Na Leanai (Irish for The Children), who are the next generation (daughters and nephew) of The Sands Family from Northern Ireland. It admirably shows that the talent has been passed on to this generation, with good looks now being added as well.
